Peruvian craftsmen used the techniques brought into the new world by the Spanish in the 16th century to make our handmade decorative glass boxes. On one side of the glass, they drew colored patterns; then, they turned the glass over and fixed it on the frame of each box to protect the paint while keeping the pattern visible. Champagne highlights beautifully complement the colors of the reverse painting, creating a unique artwork.
